In honour of Carlo Acutis, who was canonised a saint on 7th September 2025, this resource was created to celebrate the life of a young person who showed the world that holiness can be lived with joy, simplicity, and authenticity. To mark this milestone, MCYN prepared this bilingual booklet (in Maltese and English) for adolescents and youth , inviting them to discover what made Carlo special; his genuine love for God, his kindness towards others, and his courage to be his true self in a world that often pressures young people to conform.

 

All people are born as originals, but many die as photocopies

This simple yet powerful message lies at the heart of the booklet. Through short reflections, stories, and practical suggestions, it encourages young people to live with purpose, embrace their individuality, and express their faith in everyday life, at home, at school, online, and among friends.
